Welcome to Powell Little League Teeball. Get set for a great season! For those of you new to Powell Little League, this is a great opportunity to get your kids involved in a fun, supportive sporting activity. Parents are encouraged to get involved!

Powell Little League TeeBall

Tee Ball is for boys and girls 5-6 years old (with an option for 7- and/or 8-year-olds) who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In Tee Ball, players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game may be varied to accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball/softball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.

Red Soxs Rock!!

Once again another great game from the visiting team the Red Socks. They played the Mighty Hawks on an overcast day on a very soggy field. Only 5 players were able to make it so we had a chance to get lots of hitting in. And what hits we got!! They had a skilled first baseman but once we switched our strategy to not hitting it to the first baseman we did just fine. Jacoby and Isaac teamed up for quite a few plays from pitcher to 1st. We almost got a couple at 2nd and 3rd. Jimmy was at 3rd, Leif was at shortstop, Sawyer at 3rd. Way to go Red Soxs! Check out our photos. Are we styling or what?!

Go Red Sox!

The T-ball Red Sox had a great game on Saturday April 30th! The team abounded with all-stars! We had some fine catchers in Christian, Cameron and Leif. We had Isaac at pitcher and Will at 1st. We had Sawyer at 2nd, Cameron in right, Sean at 3rd and Jimmy in left. We got some awesome hits both off the tee and off the pitch. This great bunch of kids are doing an awesome job! Thanks Pirates for a good game.
