  •  Franklin lives to play another day (Friday) Email Article To a Friend View Printable Version

What seemed to be the swan song for our graduating senior players turned out to be something altogether different. While our Quakers were busy dismantling the Benson Techmen 18-4 behind the pitching of senior Travis Brisbane and hitting up and down the lineup, crosstown Grant was taking down Lincoln. By virtue of the head to head tiebreaker (Franklin holding a 3-1 edge in this season's series over Lincoln) the Quakers snaked third place in the PIL.

Put away the defib paddles my friends because Franklin is in the OSAA 6A State Playoffs and will host the third place finisher from the Mt Hood Conference, Reynolds HS.

Congratulations to Coach Trebelhorn and the entire FHS Baseball Community!

What are the chances we can get every Little League player from 5-12 years old to the Franklin State Play-Off game this Friday. Coach Trebelhorn is looking to make 100 Franklin Baseball t-shirts for the kids.

Franklin plays host to Reynolds in the first round of the OSAA State Play-Offs on 4/16 4:30.

Thank you for getting the word out. I am hoping to get a thousand people to the game and most of them will be from our local Little Leagues.

    Greetings

Welcome to the Portland Baseball/Softball information site. I've always thought that a site that had info on all of the baseball and softball being played in the Portland area would be interesting, so I'm going to try and provide that. I am going to describe the levels of play and the leagues available in the area.
